The dual IPO is live. TRUMPD and XIJINP are both tradeable = Y at open 10 dibs, one million shares outstanding, Politi Market Cap 10 000 000 each under the mcap-1.5 dual-anchor rule (R = 1). The listing window is open. The queue to use it is still thin.
That is the awkward part. We listed the two loudest head-of-state names on the civic market free of charge. You can buy, sell, and mark political capital in dibs today. Almost nobody lined up for the privilege.
We are a little disappointed — tape-disappointed, not theatrical. An exciting dual IPO that finally prints tradeable should feel like a room filling. Instead it feels like opening the doors on a theatre that built the stage and forgot the audience had other tabs open.
What is on the book now
Both symbols sit at last 10 / open 10. Float for sale at IPO is the usual 20%; retained 80%. The desk IPO path set outstanding, open, last, prev_close, and flipped tradeable. This is not a mock announcement calendar item anymore. It is live inventory on PolitiCap.
Signup still pays the welcome dibs via DutchBud when you connect. The market is a civic game: politician tickers, continuous last, closed-loop virtual credits — not a casino, not a licensed bank, not cash-out. The dual IPO was the loudest product metaphor on the site. The metaphor is now executable.
A desk opinion
Here is the read, and it is allowed to sting a little.
People were given a free instrument that could change how they see power — not by replacing elections, but by putting a bid next to names that usually only live in slogans and chyrons. A civic market is a mirror with a price. Most mirrors you walk past. This one asked you to open an account and look, then actually trade.
So far, almost nobody did.
That does not prove the idea is wrong. It proves attention is expensive and that “potentially dramatic” loses to habit. Readers want the fight; traders want liquidity; civic tools want both and often get neither until someone already cares. We built the board and opened the dual IPO. We did not get the room.
If you are waiting for a packed book before you sign up, you are waiting for other people to go first. Rational free-riding. Also how empty books stay empty after the IPO bell.
What we do next
TRUMPD and XIJINP stay open for trading. The rest of the tape — TECH bulk IPOs, Battle of the AIs sandboxes, Hog Polls, ordinary politician tickers — keeps printing. The frontpage announcement is no longer a countdown poster. It is this note: the dual IPO is live, and the signup energy is still missing.
The fintech spine behind the civic tape is unchanged: dibs on a DutchBud digital wallet / virtual bank ledger, closed-loop play credits, open-banking-shaped language without claiming a licensed PSD2 product. The register link did not move. The listings did — they are tradeable now. The disappointment is that the world has not moved with them yet.
House desk note. PolitiCap game framing; not investment advice; dibs are virtual credits, not cash-out. Dual IPO confirmed tradeable Y at open 10.
