USA & CHINA indices: how PolitiCap baskets price the civic market

posted in: Uncategorized | 0

PolitiCap just cut the map in two: national indices that roll individual politician tickers into a single civic score. Meet USA and CHINA — equal-weight composites of the four names already announced for the dual-IPO season.

Bar chart: USA index at 7.50 vs CHINA index at 6.50
Index level today: USA 7.50 · CHINA 6.50 (equal-weight average of component lasts, virtual DutchB).

What is a PolitiCap index?

An index is not a person. It is a composite listing — a basket — that tracks several tickers under one symbol. When the components move, the index level is recalculated so you can read a whole arena (USA or China) without staring at four charts at once.

On PolitiCap, indices are still denominated in dibs (virtual DutchBud credits). They are part of the civic market game: signal and participation, not legal tender and not a cash-out casino.

Equal-weight donuts: USA 50-50 TRUMPD MUSKE, CHINA 50-50 XIJINP MENGW
Equal weight: each component counts the same in the index level (50% / 50% while each index has two members).

Who sits in which basket

Index Components Index level Politi Market Cap (sum)
USA TRUMPD (Donald J. Trump) · MUSKE (Elon Musk) 7.50 Ƀ 15,000,000
CHINA XIJINP (Xi Jinping) · MENGW (Meng Wanzhou) 6.50 Ƀ 13,000,000

Heads of government open at the mechanical 10.00 DutchB band; MUSKE opens at 5.00 and MENGW at 3.00 — so the USA basket starts slightly “higher” on equal weight even though both arenas carry dual-IPO gravity.

Politi Market Cap by component: how the books stack before 28.08 and 11.11.

How the maths works (plain English)

  1. Component last — each ticker’s last virtual price (e.g. TRUMPD 10.00, MUSKE 5.00).
  2. Index level — average of the members’ lasts (equal weight). USA = (10 + 5) / 2 = 7.50.
  3. Politi Market Cap of a person — last × outstanding shares (default 1,000,000).
  4. Index book size — sum of the members’ market caps (USA 15M, CHINA 13M DutchB).

When more names join a national index later, the equal-weight recipe still holds: every listed component gets the same vote in the level, while market-cap charts show who dominates the book.

XXX, when someone says “just buy the country.” Indices are baskets, not passports.

Why indices matter before the dual IPO

The calendar already has two big floats: MUSKE × MENGW on 28.08.2026 and the dual IPO of TRUMPD + XIJINP on 11.11.2026. Indices let you talk about arenas — War, Love?, and Money — without pretending one person is the whole country.

  • USA mixes executive power (TRUMPD) with private political capital (MUSKE).
  • CHINA mixes state leadership (XIJINP) with a business flashpoint that still moves geopolitics (MENGW).

That is the civic design: a politician ticker prices a person; a national index prices a conversation. Virtual credits only. Participation, not legal tender.
